Nana Kofi Babil will blossom in Europe - SCR Altach Sporting chief Christian Möckel

SCR Altach Sporting Director Christian Möckel has hailed the capture of Ghanaian teenager Nana Kofi Babil, confident he will take football by storm in Europe. 

The 18-year-old has joined the Austrian Bundesliga side on a one-year loan deal from Medeama.

This is a major career leap for the pacy winger who will be taking his first step in European football.

And SCR Altach Sporting Director Christian Möckel is confident the hugely-talented will thrive in Europe.

"Nana Kofi Babil is an incredibly fast and dynamic outside player who has already gained professional experience with his young years," he told the club's official website.

"He sees the SCR Altach as a great opportunity to gain a foothold in European football. We are convinced of it to be able to offer him the environment that he needs to take this step and develop his talent. "

The youngster thrilled Ghanaian fans with his pace and trickery after scoring four goals and providing three assists in 12 appearances.
