Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah says goalkeeper Razak Abalora is his top signing at the club.
Mr Amponsah picked the Black Stars goalie over Brazilian star Fabio Gama, who has had a good season in the Red Jersey. Gama has scored five premier league goals and created six assists as Kotoko lie second on the table.
Meanwhile, Razak Abalora lost his position to Kwame Baah after a series of error cost Kotoko in games against Medeama and WAFA.
"Razak Abalora is my top signing," he told Happy FM. "Razak Abalora is a fantastic signing in my opinion before Fabio Gama. Many times our defence was breached but he kept us on. He was a good signing," he added.
Nana Yaw Amponsah also brought forward Evans Adomako to the team, but the striker failed to live up to expectations drawing criticisms from fans.
However, the former Phar Rangers president defended the acquisition of the striker.
"Evans Adomako really struggled in his first game and he got injured. Yes, he’s not a magician to conjure things but now he’s improving," said Nana Yaw Amponsah.
