Nania FC have assured their fans of the return of the MTN FA Cup trophy by the time the competition comes to a close.

The Division One club defied all odds to win the competition which made a triumphant return to Ghana football after a ten year hiatus.

Coached by legendary Abedi Pele, the young charges disposed off heavyweights of Ghana football including giants Asante Kotoko and defending league champions Berekum Chelsea on its way to clinching the giant trophy.

And they say the dose will be repeated to prove the feat was not an act of good fortune.

“Just like the proverbial David, Nania chopped down the Goliath’s in Ghana football to emerge winners of the trophy,” the club’s representative Isaac Ashong said at the tournament’s launch.

“We assure our fans that this will be repeated to show to all that it was no fluke.”

Nania FC by virtue of last season’s feat will represent Ghana in the next Caf Confederations Cup.
