Napoli attacker Allan says Inter Milan fullback Yuto Nagatomo deserved his red card in last night's victory.
Nagatomo received a second yellow card before half-time for a mistimed tackle on Allan.
“I thought it was a yellow card offence, as if I didn’t jump over him then he would’ve really hurt me. I thought the referee did well,” the Napoli midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was a hard-fought win, but the best victories are hard-fought and we got the three points.
“Gonzalo Higuain is a guarantee and we know that if he gets the ball, he’s likely to put it in the net. We hope to help him score many more goals so he can stay top of the Capocannoniere charts and us top of the table."
