oach Maurizio Sarri believes Lorenzo Insigne deserves his Azzurri limelight after scoring in win over Torino.
The Partenopei secured the result with two first-half goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Marek Hamsik, despite Fabio Quagliarella scoring in the 21st minute off penalty.
“I work with the players I have, if I feel I need improvement then I work with what I have,” Sarri told Premium Sport.
“I’m pleased with the performance of Lorenzo [Insigne] he did well, he deserves to play with the Italy national team.
“However, I shouldn’t interfere as it is the decision of [Antonio] Conte, he scored a great goal for us and I’m happy.
“We declined toward the end of the game, which I expected because we worked hard this week,” he concluded.
The result moves Napoli up to third in the Serie A table ahead of Juventus, level on points with Fiorentina.
