NAPOLI - New shock extension offered to HIGUAIN

Published on: 20 June 2016

According to Italian latest news, Napoli owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has just submitted Argentinian international striker Gonzalo Higuain (28) a shock extension offer, including a â‚¬7.7/£6m annual salary, and bringing his contract's expiring term from June 2018 to 2020.

Former Real Madrid player is still doubtful whether to stay put with Italian giants, for what would be his fourth season in a row as an Azzurri member, or leave. Atletico Madrid offer, which Napoli rejected, didn't tempt him much, but a Premier League would be surely more soothing. El Pipita, equipped with a second French passport, has already established he'd like to experience English football, sooner or later.
