As the international break comes to a close, Napoli midfielder Jorginho has expressed his appreciation following his first call-up to the Italian national team.
The Brazilian-born Italian citizen recently received his first call-up to the Azzurri under Antonio Conte to square off in a set of international friendlies, making his debut as a last-minute substitute during a 1-1 draw with Spain.
“Absolutely delighted with my first game for the Nazionale!!!” he shared on his personal Instagram account.
“I just have to say THANK YOU. Thank God, thanks to my family, friends and all those who I have always been close with.”
The 24-year old midfielder will now refocus his energies, as his team resumes their chase for the Scudetto and sit just three points off from top-of-the-table Juventus.
