Nat Asamoah gets a game at Red Star Belgrade

Striker Nathaniel Asamoah got some game time for Red Stars Belgrade in their 2-2 draw with Rad Boagrad over the weekend.

The 22-year-old has struggled to break into the first team since joining from Asante Kotoko last year.

Asamoah played 60 minutes before being replaced with Luka Milunovic.

The former All Stars player’s inactivity since moving to Serbia has been a source of worry to many.

It cost him his place in the Black Stars just when he was beginning to get some paltry minutes under his belt.

His return to first team action will thus serve a massive relief to his numerous followers.

Asamoah is expected to play a part in Red Star’s Europa League tie against Bordeaux on Thursday.
