Owner and bankroller of FC Samartex, Dr Ricahrd Duah Nsenkyire has called for a total reforms of the various national teams.

His remarks follow after the Black Galaxies were held to a goalless scoreline in the first leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking to Asempa FM in an interview as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com, Dr Nsenkyire argued that even though the female national teams are doing well, but the various national teams need reform.

"The various national teams need reforms. It is about doing the right things," he said.

"Should the Black Galaxies fail to qualify, what happens to the players? For the female teams, it seems they are doing well but the male national teams have failed and I believe that the Executive Council are working to ensure that we perform," he added.

The Black Galaxies will be hosted at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, December 28 for the return leg.

The winner will secure a spot for the CHAN tournament which will be hosted in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania next year.
