Nations FC won’t be pushovers against Asante Kotoko - Kasim Mingle

Nations FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has said his outfit would not be a walk-over when they take on Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The Abrankese-based will face the Porcupine Warriors at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in matchday 11 of the domestic top-flight on Sunday.

Kasim Mingle’s outfit has been outstanding since the commencement of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, winning five games, drawing four and losing just one after 10 matches.

Ahead of the clash, the former Bechem United gaffer admitted facing a daunting task but insists his outfit will not be pushovers.

“Asante Kotoko are out senior brothers and we are going to play them. We will put seniority aside on the field of play. The team that plays good football with luck being of his side will carry the day. So the pitch will decide”

“They will try to win to compensate their fans. They will come all out to win but we will not be pushovers. It will be a tough game”

With 19 points, Nations FC find themselves second on the Ghana Premier League standings, one point behind leaders, Bibiani Goldstars.
