Head Coach of Division One side Nea Salamina Ransford Kudjo has thrown his weight behind former defender Emmanuel Owusu to succeed at Asante Kotoko.

According to Kudjo, the Porcupine Warriors have made right decision acquiring the services of Owusu and is confident the youngster ‘’….will make it big and will become one of the best defenders in the country’’

Emmanuel Owusu joined Kotoko on Thursday on a three-year deal to become coach Steve Pollack’s first signing ahead of the new season.

“Owusu is a fantastic player by all standard, he will develop very well at Kumasi Asante Kotoko.” Kudjo told footmadeinghana.com

“I am very hopeful that he will make it big and will become one of the best defenders in the country. He is a disciplined and hardworking player.”

Emmanuel Owusu has already started training with the Porcupine Warriors as they prepare for the upcoming season.
