As part of Orange's preparation for UEFA EURO 2020, national coach Frank de Boer has selected 34 (candidate) internationals. On Wednesday 26 May, De Boer will then announce which players will be part of his selection for the European Championship. The final group of (maximum) 26 players - including at least three goalkeepers - must be submitted to UEFA no later than Tuesday 1 June.
There is a phased influx of players in the preparation for the final round. During the first training period - from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 May - the technical staff will work with a select number of players who no longer have any club obligations. This group trains partly together with the selection of the Dutch Juniors who are preparing for the final round of the European Championship in Zeist.
On Friday 28 May, staff and players will gather in Zeist to leave the following day for Lagos in Portugal for part 2 of the training camp.
