New Berekum Chelsea striker Celstine Mbarassem aims to top the goal scoring chart by the time the new Premier League season comes to a close.

The Champions fend-off competition from a host of premier league clubs to land the 22-year-old free agent and the Chadian is looking to repay the faith and investment made by consistently banging-in the goals.

“I have a good coach and good management and I want to come and show the people how good I am by winning the goal king award,” he exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I will do my job by scoring the goals in every match and helping my team win the league for the fans to be happy.”

The ex Nania FC hitman’s potential was again backed by Ghana FA Executive Committee member, George Afriyie who wanted to sign the player alongside deceased Alhaji Sly Tetteh for Liberty Professionals.

“Chelsea have signed very good players and Celestine for example is one of them,” he said.

“I have known him for some time now while he was with Nania, fantastic player and I and with Sly Tetteh wanted to sign him but were unable to get him.”
