New Edubiase United have angrily scoffed reports that midfielder Latif Anabila failed a medical at Danish side AGF Aarus.

According to the Bekwai-based side, clubs have failed to meet the asking price of the Ghana youth international.

The midfielder first landed at AIK Stockholm in Sweden before being sent to Tunisian side Club Africain.

"Latif failed trials? That is laughable. This was a player who impressed the coach of AIK and they wanted him to replace Ebenezer Ofori but it had to do with money,” New Edubiase General Manager Joe Abu Salam told GHANASoccernet.com

“Club Africain were keen on signing him but they could not meet our terms so we had to move him away to Denmark where it was also the same.

“So for me, it’s very mischievous for anybody to tell such lies about the player who has huge potentials."

Anabila was named the Most Promising Player of the Ghana Premier League last season.

He was a member of the Ghana U23 team which played at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.
