New Edubiae won a historic Ghana MTN FA cup without conceding a goal in the competition.

The impressive performance from the Bekwai-based side saw them beat Ashantigold 1-0 at the Accra Sport stadium to etche their name in the history books.

For an ambitious side that gained promotion to the elite division just three seasons ago, the giant killing feat has enhance their brand tremendously and will forever linger on the minds of their supporters.

“I am short of words to describe how I feel. We are very happy with what we have been able to achieve in just three years,” Edubiase president Abdul Salam Mumuni told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I have never failed at anything that I put my mind to do. When we started this project, I never stoped believing that we were going to be successful,”

“And to today I stand out with my chest out and extremely excited at what we have being able to do.”

Captain Ibrahim Moro strucked the only goal of the match from a well-taken free kick.

Edubiase will represent the country in next year's Caf Confederations cup.
