Abdul Salam Yakubu couldn't help but pour out his frustration at referee William Agbovi as New Edubiase crashed to opening day defeat in the Ghanaian top-flight on Sunday.
Edubiase lost their third successive home game against Hearts after going down 2-0 at the Gyamfiââ¬â¢s Park in Bekwai.
Edubiase were impressive in the first half but a sloppy performance in the second allowed new recruit Emmanuel Hayford to bag a brace to silence their home fans.
Edubiase president Abdul Salam Yakubu was livid with the performance of the centre referee and accused him of being biased.
ââ¬ÅI have never been impressed with referee Agboviââ¬â¢s performance. Anytime he takes charge of our match, we lose,â⬠Yakubu told Happy FM
ââ¬ÅWeââ¬â¢ll protest any future appointment because we believe he has something against us.
ââ¬ÅHearts scored two decent goals but the overall performance of the refere leaves much to be desired.
ââ¬ÅWeââ¬â¢ll not allow him to handle our matches again. Heââ¬â¢s an apology of a referee. I donââ¬â¢t know what he wants from us.
Edubiase will next travel to Wa to face All Stars in a must-win game on September 22.
