New Ghana League champion Samuel Boadu to marry in August

Published on: 12 July 2021

Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has found the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and they will tie the knot next month.

The former Medeama gaffer will tie down with his sweetheart Felicia Apimpanta.

The wedding is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Pentecost International Worship Centre in Asokwa, a suburb of Kumasi.

The good news comes a day after Boadu secured Hearts of Oak's first Ghana Premier League title in 12 years.

The league title triumph is also Boadu's first in his managerial career which started not long ago.

Medeama gave him the rare opportunity in 2017 when they appointed him as head coach.

He established himself as a top coach and was desperate to prove himself elsewhere.

He took up the Hearts of Oak job and has delivered the elusive 21st league title.

Boadu has the chance to win the double this season as Hearts are in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup.
