New Inter signing Eder is determined to get his Nerazzurri career off to a winning start in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.

The former Sampdoria man joined the club on a two-year long loan, and is making his Inter debut in one of the biggest games of the season against AC Milan on Sunday night.

“It doesn’t matter who scores, it only matters that we win,” Eder told reporters ahead of the match.

“I played in a derby while at Sampdoria, I know how important they are to the fans.

“They are played to be won, it doesn’t matter who scores.”

The 29-year-old is currently the second-highest goalscorer in Serie A this season and has promised to keep that form going as much as possible while at Inter.

“My promise is to always give 100 percent on the pitch, it’s the least I can do,” Eder asserted.
