New York City FC defender Anton Tinnerholm sees former teammate Ebenezer Ofori returning to Swedish giants AIK Stockholm.
Ofori has ended his season-long loan spell with the MLS side who decided against their option to retain his services for a third stint.
He made 24 appearances in the regular season and scored two goals for the 2019 campaign.
The Ghana international is expected to return to his parent club Stuttgart but has been linked with a return Sweden where he was a big hit.
''He is the same player as he was in AIK. A game distributor who is comfortable with the ball,'' Tinnerholm told FotbollDirect.
''When he was playing in AIK, I thought he was one of the league's absolute best players. He was confident with the ball and it was impossible to take it away from him.''
