Newcastle United are lining up a move to sign Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford, as they need a striker to play in the Championship next season.
The Magpies will try to achieve an instant promotion, then they have reportedly targeted Bamford, who has two years remaining on his contract with Chelsea and whose ownership is esteemed around £10m by the Blues.
The England Under-21 international has struggled and failed to impress with Crystal Palace and Norwich this season.
