Premier League side Newcastle United have now emerged as favourites to sign Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom from Red Star Belgrade, according to reports in England.
Boakye, 25, has been linked with Conte reunion at champions Chelsea in recent weeks, but reports indicate that Boakye has asked his representatives to accept a 6 million pounds bid from the Tyneside club.
Red Star were reportedly asking for around 8 million pounds.
Boakye has scored 23 goals in 28 appearances for the Serbian Reds this season and was named the clubs player of the year 2017.
