Newcastle’s Cisse insists he is not keen on Real Madrid

Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has rubbished claims that he is looking to join Real Madrid.

Reports on Wednesday morning suggested that the Senegalese ace was hoping to move to one of the ‘biggest clubs’, indicating that the Spanish giants were his preference.

But a source close to Cisse has revealed that the former Freiburg man, who has netted 13 goals in 13 appearances for the Magpies, is intent on staying in the North East.

“Papiss is totally committed to Newcastle United and is not interested in anything other than ensuring he and the team finish the season as strongly as possible,” said the source.
