Nets star forward Kevin Durant asked to be traded to another team last week, but the club has yet to receive a satisfactory offer.
According to the New York Post, if Brooklyn remains unhappy with the level of assets on offer, the exchange situation could drag on and Durant would have to start preparing for the new season with his current team.
It is noted that since Kevin has four more years left on his contract and his friend Kyrie Irving has taken the option for a 22/23 season, the Nets have leverage and intend to use it
