Fred has taken to Twitter to send a message following Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle as Manchester United end trophy drought

Manchester United celebrated a 2-0 victory over Newcastle in the EFL Cup final on Sunday as Casemiro opened the scoring meanwhile Marcus Rashford doubled their lead.
United became Carabao Cup winners as they ended their trophy drought. The Red Devils last won a trophy back in 2017 when they became Europa League champions.
This was Erik ten Hag’s first trophy at United at his first attempt in his first season.
Following the game, Fred took to Twitter to send a message as he wrote: “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! That’s the spirit of United. Thanks God!”
