Roberto Firmino has shared his high praise for Mohamed Salah, claiming it is an “honour” to play alongside him.
The Liverpool stars have been teammates since 2017, forming the Reds’ attacking trio along with Sadio Mane.
In the summer of 2022, Mene left Anfield to join Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, while Firmino and Salah still continue their playing spell in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Firmino now claims he had made a “strong bond” with the Egypt international on and off the pitch.
“It is a great privilege to play alongside him, we have a strong bond both on and off the pitch. He is a great player, a great character. It is an honour to play with him and I hope we can keep on bringing the fans joy for years to come,” the attacker said, via Anfield Watch.
