The spotlight has been shining brightly on Graham Potter, Chelsea’s manager, who has struggled to turn around the team’s fortunes since being appointed in September, following Thomas Tuchel’s sacking.
Potter’s record stands at 9 wins and 7 losses in his first 22 games, leaving Chelsea currently in 9th place in the Premier League, ten points behind the top four and with only one win this year.
The January transfer window saw Chelsea spend over £320 million on nine new players, including Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Enzo Fernandez, adding to the eight players brought in last summer. Results are expected to justify this massive spending.
