Jurgen Klopp has made it clear again they are not going to sign any new players this January.
Liverpool faced a 2 – 1 defeat to Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round and were knocked out of the domestic competition.
Harvey Elliott opened the score for his team in the 30th minute of the clash, while Lewis Dunk scored an equaliser nine minutes later. Kaoru Mitoma’s 92th-minute net helped the Seagulls advance to the next stage of the tournament.
After the meeting, Klopp was asked about Liverpool’s possible signings during the winter transfer window, to which the manager replied:
“Nothing will happen in this transfer window, not at all. It’s all good.”
