Kylian Mbappe sends short message after World Cup defeat to Argentina
France talisman Kylian Mbappe has promised fans that they ‘will be back’ after their defeat to Argentina in the Qatar World Cup final.
Argentina became world champions when they beat France 4-2 on penalties, having played out 2-2 and 3-3 draws in the regular time and extra time.
Mbappe lived up to the hype when he scored a hat-trick against Argentina in the final to win the Golden Boot Award with eight goals.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward lost what would have been his second World Cup to Argentina on Sunday evening but has promised his fans that Les Bleus will be back.
“We will be back,” Mbappe said on his Instagram handle.
