Mikel Arteta has shared his verdict on Jorginho ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
The England international joined the Gunners during the January transfer window, signing a one-year contract at the club.
Speaking in the pre-match conference, Arteta has now revealed Jorginho is a “leader” and has had a special impact on the team since his arrival.
“He’s really good. He’s come in to the team and earned the respect of everybody,” the manager said, via Football London.
“You see his leadership and his impact he’s had on the team. I think he had a really good game.”
