Raheem Sterling has spoken out on Chelsea’s appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the head coach.
Chelsea confirmed on Monday that they have welcomed Pochettino as their new head coach following the conclusion of 2022/23 season.
The Blues had a season to forget in the 2022/23 campaign as they finished 12th in Premier League and have been eliminated from other tournaments.
Pochettino’s side won’t be playing any European football next season and will focus on the league.
Following the appointment, Sterling told the Telegraph: “He is going to have the personality that everyone is going to respect. That’s what we need. Someone in charge.”
