Because both Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion are superb goalscoring sides, we predict both teams to score at least one goal and any team to win. Newcastle didn’t draw any of their last five home matches, Brighton didn’t draw any of their last five home matches. With Newcastle likely to score and concede, the chances of the game ended in one side’s favour and with both teams scoring goals are high.

Newcastle United are aware they need to win this game against Brighton to ensure their chances of finishing in the top four remains on their hands, well assuming Liverpool and Man United win their remaining matches. The Magpies dropped two points last weekend when they drew 2-2 against Leeds United away from home but will look to bounce back this midweek.
Brighton responded superbly to last week 5-1 defeat to Everton at home when they thrashed Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The Seagulls are obviously pushing for a place in the top six this term and a win over Newcastle United will advance their quest. Brighton have won three and lost two of their last five league matches.
