Niger star Victorien Adebayor is set to leave Legon Cities despite his loan deal expiring in December.

Adebayor joined the Royals in March from Danish club HB Koge in the second half of the 2020/21 season that ended not long ago.

“HB Køge has made an agreement with the Ghanaian club Legon Cities FC. The deal means striker Victorien Adebayor will be loaned out to Legon Cities, who play in the Ghanaian Premier League. The lease is valid for the rest of the year,” Koge announced.

However, after failing to impress Legon Cities do not wish Adebayor continues at the club.

The former Inter Allies captain failed to find the back of the net as Legon Cities nearly got relegated.

His unimpressive form came as surprise to fans who watched him dazzle for Inter Allies in the 2019/20 campaign which was truncated because of coronavirus.

the attacker scored 12 goals after making 13 appearances for Inter Allies, and that earned him the move to the Danish second-tier club.
