Nigeria Under-20 women’s team coach Peter Dedevbo has blamed the centre referee for their 1-0 defeat to Ghana in an international friendly over the weekend.

The Black Princesses coasted to a narrow 1-0 win over the Falconets at the Tema Municipal stadium from the boot of Fatima Alhassan.

Falconets coach Peter Dedevdo claims poor officiating accounted for their defeat.

"The Ghanaian side played robust football forcing the Falconets to play with caution.''

"I will work on the lapses noticed in the two matches played against our neighbours."

The Federation of the two nations had sealed an agreement to play four friendlies before the World Cup.

The other matches will take place in Nigeria from 20th to 22nd June.
