Nigeria U20 to start foreign-based duo against Ghana

Nigeria Under-20 foreign-based duo Ahmed Musa and Stanley Okoro are set to start Monday's Group B opener against defending champions Ghana.

VVV-Venlo attacking winger, Musa, only joined the Flying Eagles on Sunday night to end speculation about his availability for the Under20 African championship.

Musa is optimistic can shake off a 10-hour flight jet lag to play against Ghana.

"I'm happy to be in South Africa with the team. I'm looking forward to playing against Ghana too," He said.

Others set for starting places are goalkeeper Dami Paul as well as Terna Suswan, Mohammed Aliyu, Ganiyu Ogungbe and Gbenga Arokoyo.

Also in the team for Ghana are Abduljeleel Ajagun, Olanrewaju Kayode and Terry Envoh.

Ramon Azeez will captain the team.
