Striker Kwesi Appiah was not part of the AFC Wimbledon team which beat Southend 1-0 on Saturday away in the League One.
Appiah suffered a hamstring injury against Burton Albion on 9 February and had to be replaced after 18 minutes.
Despite the club reporting the 28-year-old has recovered, Appiah was not included in the wins against Doncaster Rovers and Peterborough United.
Appiah has not featured in the club's last seven matches.
But he is expected in Accra next week to prepare with the Black Stars for next Saturday's final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
