No Ghanaian among Africa's top 10 performers in Europe so far

There have been a few standout African performers in Europe's top five leagues this season – here is an update on who the continent's leading performers are.

Leicester City and Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez is currently Africa's top player with a rating of 8.33, having scored 10 goals and assisted six further strikes.

In second is Paris Saint-Germain and Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier, who has been in fine form in France, helping his team to a few clean sheets.

Third place goes to Gabon superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is Africa's top goalscorer in Europe with 17 strikes.
