Ghana coach Avram Grant has no injury worries ahead of Tuesday's 2018 FIFA World Cup second-leg qualifier against Comoros as Andre Ayew has been passed fit to play.

The Swansea City star, 25, appeared to have sustained a minor knee problem and sat out of training on Saturday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But Black Stars vice captain has been cleared by the Ghana medical team to get involved in full scale training on Sunday after assessing the extent of the injury and confirming it was a minor knock.

Ayew was influential in midfield for the four-time African champions in Moroni on Friday as he played in diverse roles during the game to ensure the very tactical looking Comoros side was kept at bay.

The Black Stars, who are attempting to make their fourth straight appearance at the World Cup, must beat Comoros at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday if they are to reach the next stage of the qualifiers.

The former Olympique Marseille star will be chasing his 67th cap for the Black Stars since making his debut for the West African giants in 2007.
