Normalisation Committee in search for a new coach for Black Queens- Naa Odofoley

Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee (NC) has began the search for a new coach for the Black Queens which has been confirmed by Naa Odofoley Nortey who is a member of the committee.

Bashiru Hayford who was the head coach of the team during the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations resigned from his post and there are reports he is set to be named the new technical director of the Somalia Football Federation.

Confirming this in an interview with Happy FM Naa Odofoley said: “As for now, no one has been appointed as the Black Queens head coach. But I am sure in the coming weeks an announcement will be made”.

Black Queens will defend their WAFU B Women's championship in Cote D'Ivoire this year.

Ghana has been paired alongside, Guinea, Mali and Nigeria.
