NorthEast United FC head coach Eelco Schattorie has lauded the attributes of new signing Augustine Okrah.

The Indian Super League side have acquired the services of the former Ghana Premier League MVP and top scorer.

Schattorie worked with Okrah during his days at the defunct Red Bull Academy in Sogakope between 2011-2012.

He Tweeted: ''Okra has big potential and this is his chance to prove it. He a very fast, technical winger and can play as a attacking midfielder. Let’s bless him and ask his full commitment in return.''

Okrah recently terminated his contract with Egyptian Premier League side Ismaily.

He had a successful spell in Sudan with rivals Al Merreikh and Al Hilal.
