Norwegian side Valarenga have terminated the contract of former Ghana striker Isaac Boakye due to disciplinary reasons, MTNFootball.com can reveal.

He signed a one-year deal five months ago on a free transfer after parting ways with German side Nurnberg.

In June, a Norwegian newspaper reported that Valerenga were unimpressed with former Wolfsburg hitman's attitude and were considering sacking him.

Boakye scored four goals in eight matches for Valerenga including a hat-trick he scored in the Norwegian Cup.
