Former Valencia, Barcelona FC, Atletico Madrid and Spanish NT star striker David Villa (34), playing for New York City since July 2014 (except for a short loan term at Melbourne City), asked about his future by Sports Illustrated broadcast Planet Futbol, stated:
"If my mentality, if my body, of course, are good, I'm still going to be here. I am comfortable in New York and with the club, the club, I think, is comfortable with me, and if I am good, I keep playing here. We're talking about it with the club”.
Villa is currently on a deal with MLS side until December 2017.
