Hearts of Oak board member Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has called on fans to remain patient with head coach Aboubakar Ouattara despite the team's difficult start to the Ghana Premier League season.
Hearts have lost their opening two matches, falling to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions, prompting some fans to demand the coach's dismissal.
However, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe believes it is too early to judge and compares their situation to Manchester United's, where patience is key in building a strong team.
"I am not worried about this [the team's current form]. All I will tell the supporters is that they should just take their time," he said in an interview with Angel Sports.
"We are building a team and when we are building a team, it takes some time to build a team.
"Look at what is happening to Manchester United. They are losing matches but you can see he [Erik ten Hag] is building a team and I want us to go that tangent."
Hearts of Oak currently sit at the bottom of the table and will face Bechem United in their next fixture at an adopted venue after Accra Sports Stadium was closed for maintenance.
