Asante Kotoko midfielder Stephen Oduro says he is forced to consider leaving the club for the increasing lack of playing time.

The 29-year-old has been used sparingly this season igniting talks of retirement in order to pursue a career in coaching.

But the ex Real Tamale United player refuses to give in and says he is willing to leave the runaway Premier League champions in search of regular first team action.

"Talks of me retiring to pursue a coaching course is not true, I still want to continue playing," he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

"The coach (Maxwell Konadu) said he has a winning team and he does not want to change it so if they don't want me they should allow me to go elsewhere.

"Players like Sammy Adjei and Laryea Kingston are still playing at Hearts so I see no reason why I should retire now, I have a lot of football left in me."
