OFFICIAL: 12 clubs submit bids for Bechem United's Augustine Okrah
Augustine Okrah is wanted by 12 from ten countries.

Bechem United have received a record 12 offers for Ghana Premier League goal king Augustine Okrah, according to the club's official player transfer consultant Shiraj Ahmed.

Official bids from 12 clubs in 10 countries - Portugal, Belgium, Egypt, Sweden, France, Italy, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Norway and the United States - are being considered by the club.

''The playmaker's remarkable season-long skill exhibition and goalscoring run in the Premier League attracted interest from 3 continents and I can confirm a decision on his transfer is being considered by the club and our outfit ArthurLegacy Sports, '' Ahmed exclusively told Africanfootball.com

The consultant added: ''With 10 assists and 20 goals for a club with about 34 goals for the whole season, we expected the ongoing competitive rush for this priceless talent.''

Ahmed would not confirm or deny reports that Okrah will be sold for around €450,000 with Bechem retaining 30% of his commercial value.

It is understood a sale agreement on the player will be reached within weeks without the top scorer going for trials.

Okrah, who was named Sports Writers Premier League Player of the Year, scored 20 of Bechem’s 34 goals this season in both League and FA Cup.

He ended the season on Wednesday by scoring his 16th league goal to be crowned top scorer.
