Coming from a string of defeats, Italian 48-year old Massimo Rastelli has been sacked by Cagliari, together with his second, Nicola Legrottaglie, and his assistant, Dario Rossi. Serie A side are yet to announce the trainer replacing him (three names are in talks with the club: Beppe Iachini, Massimo Oddo, and Walter Zenga).
