Italian topflight side, Genoa have completed the signing of Ghanaian-born Italy U21 attacker Kelvin Yeboah.

The 21-year-old signed a permanent deal with the serie A strugglers from Austrian side Sturm Graz.

Yeboah, who was born in Ghana but has represented Italy at youth level, has been in top form this season in Austria, having scored 11 goals and created five assist in 18 Bundesliga games.

His performances earned him a call up to the national team of Ghana last June, which he turned down to play for the young Azzuris.

""We are very happy to have brought back to Italy a player of great attraction on the market, young but already with many experiences and excellent statistics in these seasons," said Genoa's general manager of sports.

Yeboah could make his debut for the club in a serie A game against Spezia.

He previously played for WSG Tirol and WSG Wattens in Austria.
