Sporting Lisbon announced having signed Portuguese international winger Gelson Martins (21), tracked by several European top clubs, on a new contract, lasting until June 2022, and having bought Uruguayan international centre-back Sebastián Coates (26) back from Sunderland, signing him on a deal with the same length. Both agreements now include an exit clause, respectively amounting to 60 and 45 million euros.
