After having avoided relegation under Moreno Longo, who had replaced Walter Mazzarri back in early February, Torino announced having signed Swiss-born Italian 53-year old trainer Marco Giampaolo as new first-team manager. Former AC Milan, Sampdoria and Cagliari boss agreed with Granata on a 2-year deal.
