After about five months and a half at Boca Juniors, former Italian international half-back Daniele De Rossi (36) announced having quit professional football. Former AS Roma captain and legend, and World Cup 2006 winner, made clear, during his last press conference as a player: "I've got no particular issue going on, family-wise. But I need to reunite with them. I'm 36, not 25, and that's it. Nothing wrong with the new club leadership, I've only been working under them two-three days long. I'm saying goodbye to a club which saved a place in my heart for themselves".
