OH Leuven Technical Director delighted by arrival of Ghanaian forward Jonah Osabutey

Technical Director of Belgium side OH Leuven, Wim De Corte has expressed delight in the arrival of highly rated Ghanaian forward Jonah Osabutey. 

The 21-year old returns to the Jupiler Pro League after an excellent campaign with Royal Excel Mouscoron last season, where he was voted player of the season at the club.

He joins newcomers, OH Leuven on a season long loan from German Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, as he continues his development.

“With Jonah Osabutey we add extra qualities to our core. He showed his potential last season and we hope he can develop further in this campaign. Osabutey has an interesting profile that we did not yet have at our core and we are therefore happy that he chose OH Leuven,” said De Corte. 

Last season, whiles on loan at Mouscoron, Osabutey scored fives goals in 22 games to be named the club's player of the season.

He joined the Germans from Ghanaian club Tema Youth, but he is yet to make a breakthrough with Werder Bremen.
